Alemany Softball Wins and Advances To CIF Playoffs Quarter-Finals
Alemany 5, Segerstrom 3: Lindsey Webster recorded nine strikeouts and hit a home run, her seventh, as host Alemany of Mission Hills defeated Segerstrom of Santa Ana. Dianne Revago finished 2 for 2 with a double, triple and two RBIs for the Warriors (22-8).

Recylcing Old Technology
For yesterday’s Earth Day, our Technology Department with the help of Mr. Sotelo and his crew was given the opportunity to recycle old computer parts. A truck supplied by Off Lease Clearing House an approved E-Waste collector arrived at Alemany and collected such items as old computers, CRT monitors, televisions, telephones, copiers, scanners, printers, and florescent tubes. This recycling project was done at no cost to Alemany and we would like to thank everyone who contributed to the earth-improving efforts. Great Job Mr. Schaaff and Mr. Schmidt

Alemany Students Help "Big Sunday" - The Tidings
"Robert Warren, director of community service at Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, said about 80-120 students have participated in Big Sunday activities the last four years. Students have visited local elementary schools to paint, clean up, work on murals or run a school carnival for kids. Alemany Alumni - Matthew Siordia '05 - Honored for creating UCMerced’s Junior Bobcat Mentoring Program
Matthew received an award for meritorious service April 10, 2008 at the annual California Colleges and Universities Police Chief’s Association Award dinner in South Lake Tahoe. He earned this award for his service to the University of Merced’s Campus Security Officer Program, where he is Supervisor, and for helping to implement the UCMerced’s Junior Bobcat Mentoring Program for at-risk middle school students in the city of Merced.

On the April 6, Citrus Sunday (sponsored by LA Councilperson Greg Smith) was joined by Alemany Students: Chris Eldabh, Kashane Sakhakorn, and Jeremy Reyes.
Citrus Sunday is a fresh fruit drive to help more than 130,000 San Fernando Valley residents living without adequate, nutritious food.
