We are proud about our academic program, which we consider to be the best in the San Fernando region.

 

Alemany began the iPad one-to-one program in 2013, in which every student and every faculty member is now using a state-of-the-art iPad in all classes.

 

This device has allowed Bishop Alemany to position itself at the forefront of 21st Century Learning, with a focus on developing the 4 Cs of learning vital for student success in college and future careers:

 

Beyond these critical areas of learning, Bishop Alemany aims to help students develop other important “Cs”: compassion, community concern, and understanding of Catholic beliefs and teachings.

 

Another innovation implemented this year, just as important as the iPad, is our campus-wide use of a new learning management system – Canvas. Designed as a platform for online college courses, Canvas provides students and faculty an enhanced learning and engagement experience.

 

These new developments in our Alemany curriculum will serve to allow us to continue providing educational excellence for a wide range of students - helping all students develop intellectually, emotionally, and faithfully as they create their future paths.
