Campus Ministry
The Sr. Elizabeth Anne Sheehy Campus Ministry Center at Bishop Alemany High School

The Campus Ministry Center is a resource for the development of the identity of Bishop Alemany High School as a Catholic school.  Here the students and staff are welcome to become involved in the development of their own faith and in the development of our faith community.  Through the meeting of open hearts and open minds, together we are better able to discover the joys of living in and through Christ.
Our theme for this school year is "All I Have is Yours".  In the Gospel of St. Luke, Jesus tells the story of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) wherein the older brother complains to his father that the younger brother does not deserve a party upon his return from his wild life.  The father's response is joy-filled and resolute, promising the older brother that he shares in all the father has, but that redemption is always the higher goal.  The younger son is in need of knowing that he still has value, and the father is willing and watning to do all that he can to redeem him.
This story mirrirs the story of humanity.  Though we live ina world that gives us many opportunities to lose sight of our value, God is always willing and wanting to give everything to redeem us.  All that He has is ours.  Even His Son, Jesus, is ours.
The events and workings of the Campus Ministry Center this year will focus on helping us all see and know how much God is willing to give to us for the sake of our salvation.  Let us get ready to recieve.
All are welcome to join us for any events or to call on us for assistance.
