This piece deals with Wiesel's experiences during the Holocaust and can be found on p.190 of your textbook.

After reviewing NIGHT, read the short excerpt KEEP MEMORY ALIVE on p.730 of your textbook. How are they different? How did the men respond to the difficult situations they were placed in? Are there any commonalities of the war experience in general?

Be sure to use facts from the stories to support your opinions. Your paper should be 2-3 pages in length. It should be typed, double-spaced, and written in Times New Roman size 12 font.
