On Monday, November 5th at 6:30 pm, the Bishop Alemany Parent Association will be hosting "Drug Prevention Through Education." This is the first of a number of parent evenings with expert speakers on a variety of topics important to parents of teenagers. This first evening will be about Vaping. Vaping is the inhalation of vapor created by an electronic cigarette to vaporize substances such as marijuana, liquid nicotine solution, and assorted flavors as an aerosol mist. The use of these adult devices has become an epidemic among teenagers. The speakers will be discussing social media and vaping, substance abuse in the era of the Opioid Crisis, and other important subjects for our parents to know to keep their children safe. Parents who attend will receive one "Parent Hour" per family. Don't miss this very important presentation on Monday, November 5th at 6:30 pm.
