Senior Graduation Guidelines & Responsibilities
TUITION AND FEES
As we prepare to celebrate our seniors, we ask that all tuition and fees be paid in full in order for students to participate in senior activities, including Prom, Senior Pool Party, and Senior Sunset, as well as to receive a cap and gown, participate in the Graduation Ceremony, and receive a diploma.

Please also ensure that all miscellaneous balances, including Athletics, Parent Service Hours, NHS, and CSF fees, and 0-Period and 7th-Period class fees, are cleared prior to graduation. We appreciate your attention to these details as we work together to make this a memorable and successful conclusion to the school year. Any tuition questions can be directed to the Tuition Office at [email protected] or by calling 818-837-5288.

ATTENDANCE is required for graduation. Per our attendance policy, students who exceed 13 unexcused absences must make up the missed class time; otherwise, they will not be eligible to graduate.

DIPLOMAS
All students participating in the Graduation Ceremony receive a Diploma Cover. At the conclusion of the ceremony, all graduates will be escorted to the softball field, where they will receive their diplomas and any awards, and will then come out to greet family and friends. Please wait for your graduates in the stadium area until they return.

Ceremony Guidelines & Expectations
Out of consideration for all graduates and families, we will not permit horns, beach balls, confetti cannons, or any other potentially distracting items. Smoking is also prohibited in the stadium. We appreciate your cooperation.

SCHOOL PROPERTY/PRANKS
Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against any senior who damages school property or participates in any type of disruptive prank. Parents will be billed for any resulting damage. Seniors may not be allowed to participate in the Graduation Ceremony. Your cooperation in carrying out the above procedures will bring this year to a peaceful and happy conclusion.

Important Next Steps for College Applications
You’ve done the hard work of applying — now make sure you’re staying on track! Colleges will send important follow‑up information, decisions, and next steps through email and your college portals. This includes:
  • Application updates
  • Financial aid and award notices
  • Enrollment confirmations
  • Housing applications and deadlines

Check your email and college portals often (yes, even your spam folder!) so you don’t miss time‑sensitive tasks that could affect your spot, housing, or aid.

Many colleges are sending out invitations to INFORMATION DAYS for new students, and you do not want to miss these opportunities to learn more about the college that you have chosen to attend.

A few minutes of checking now can save you a lot of stress later. Stay organized, stay informed, and finish strong — you’re almost there!
