The Alemany of Mission Hills baseball team swept a nonleague doubleheader against Brentwood, winning 11-2 and 18-10, on Saturday.

Karl Turner pitched five shutout innings for Alemany in the first game of a nonleague doubleheader against Brentwood.

Turner (1-0) struck out five and gave up three hits. He also was 2 for 4 with two RBIs.

Hugo Hernandez was 2 for 3 and drove in three runs for Alemany (6-3). He had a two-run double in the second inning.

Nico Songco was 2 for 2 with an RBI.

In the second game, Mark Strazzeri was 4 for 5 and scored two runs for Alemany.

Sergio Plascencia, Hugo Hernandez and Tyler Barkley each had three hits and drove in three runs apiece for Alemany.
