Orchestra, Band, and String Quartet Competing in New York City

The Bishop Alemany Orchestra, Band, and String Quartet under the direction of Ms. Jennifer Bellusci, are raising funds to compete at the Riverside Church Music Competition in New York City.  They have started a "Go Fund Me" account.  Click here if you would like to help.  Any amount is welcome.  Our instrumental music program has been very successful in other competitions throughout the years and we are looking forward to another successful year in New York City.

The performances will be at Riverside Church in New York City.  Riverside Church is an historic church, established in 1878 and conceived by industrialist, financier, and philanthropist John D. Rockefeller.  Over the years it has welcomed Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nelson Mandela.  Now, it is the location of a very popular musical competition.  We are honored to be a part of it this coming March.  We are hoping for a wonderful experience for our young musicians and a successful undertaking as they practice all year long.
