Course Description:
This course will pick up where Spanish I left off. We will continue with the different parts of speech and writing, greetings, numbers, colors, calendar, regular and irregular verbs, adjectives, the different tenses, and more vocabulary building.
 
Class Rules:
1. Students must show respect for the teacher as well as for each other at al times.
2. Students are to be in their seats when the bell rings and are to remain seated until the teacher dismisses them.
3. No gum chewing, food, candy of any sort or drink other than water is allowed in the classroom.
4. No electronics (cell phones, I Pods, CD Players, Laptops, etc...)
 
Course Requirements:
Students are expected to complete and turn in any and all assignments given by the teacher in a timely manner. If a student is absent, he/she will be allowed to turn in the work upon their return provided it is accompanied with an excused slip. Participation in class is important and as such materials like the textbook, notebook, workbook, writing utensils and a Spanish-English dictionary are required since they allow the student to more fully participate in any and all activities.
 
Testing Procedure and Policy:
Tests will be administered at the end of every chapter and quizzes will be given as needed. The student is responsible for scheduling any make up test or work with the teacher and after an excused absence slip has been presented. Late assignments will not be accepted. Any cheating, talking or assisting others during a test will result in an immediate fail of the test or quiz.

Assignments: 25%
Projects/Presentations: 20%
Class Participation: 15%
Final Exam: 20%
 
93-100% = A
90-92% = A-
87-89 = B+
83-86% = B
80-82% = B-
77-79% = C+
73-76% = C
70-72% = C-
67-69% = D+
63-66% = D
60-62% = D-
0-59% = F
