Good Evening Alemany Families,

Please join us for our Bishop Alemany Parent Association (BAPA) meeting this Tuesday, April 8, at 6:30 PM in Alumni Hall.

The sophomore class retreat will take place this Wednesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 10, at the San Fernando Mission, located at 15151 San Fernando Mission Blvd., Mission Hills, CA 91345. The retreat will run during regular school hours, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Students must be dropped off and picked up directly at the San Fernando Mission parking lot. Lunch will be provided; however, students are welcome to bring their lunch if they prefer. The sophomore class has been divided into two groups: students with Religion class periods 1, 2, and 3 will attend on Wednesday, April 9, while students with Religion class periods 4, 5, 6, and 0 will attend on Thursday, April 10. This retreat is mandatory, and all students are expected to attend. Permission slips have already been distributed in Religion classes and must be submitted to their Religion teacher before attending. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact Mrs. R at [email protected]. Thank you for your support in ensuring your student has a meaningful retreat experience!

You will have an opportunity for brief conversations with teachers about your student’s progress. If you need more than a few minutes, please reach out to those individual teachers for a separate meeting date.

On Thursday, April 10, we will be conducting a Safety Drill.  If you have any questions, please contact Dave Urbach at [email protected]

The Band and Orchestra Spring Concert is scheduled for this Friday, April 11, at 6:00 p.m. in Alumni Hall. There will be food and drinks for purchase at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Tuition Office for $10 general admission and will be $15 at the door. Alemany student tickets are $5 with Alemany ID. This is a cashless event, and no cash will be accepted on the night of the concert. If any parents want to volunteer at the concert for Parent Service Hours, please contact Mrs. Colella at [email protected].  We hope you can join us!

Parents are reminded that the early Summer School registration deadline is April 16. All Alemany students are expected to make up for the deficient grades they receive during the normal school year. Registration forms can be found at Alemany.org on the Summer School page.

It's that time of year to give thanks to our beloved Faculty and Staff for all that they do for our students. If you are looking for a way to complete your Parent Service Hours, please consider helping your Bishop Alemany Parent Association with items they need donated to make it a memorable week for our Faculty & Staff.  Please sign up using this link to purchase gift cards and snacks.  For every $20 you spend on gift cards or snacks, you will receive 1 Parent Service Hour toward your annual required amount. Sign up with the link, order online, or pick up at your local grocery store, and then drop off gift cards or items with the following details to the Main Office: parent and student's name, a receipt, and voucher for a gift card/ item. The deadline to turn in the items is Wednesday, April 16, before Easter Break.

Students who joined the NHS and CSF in the Spring will be billed $10 for each organization through their FACTS account on Monday, April 21, 2025.

We would greatly appreciate your donations of gently used uniforms that your student no longer needs. Please consider donating them by taking them to the main office.

May God bless you and your family in the week ahead.
