Good Evening Alemany Families,

Tomorrow Monday, May 6, students will follow a Friday (grey) Bell Schedule. The school day will start as normal and end at 1:35 p.m. All school offices will close at 1:40 p.m. for a Faculty and Staff meeting.

Starting tomorrow Monday, May 6, students in Advanced Placement classes will start taking their AP Tests. Students should arrive at school no later than 7:15 a.m. for an 8:00 a.m. exam or 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. exam. Students will not be allowed to enter the testing area once the AP exam starts. Please have your student wear their uniform as usual and bring two # 2 pencils and a blue or black ink pen. Mechanical pencils cannot be used. If the exam allows, bring a calculator. If your student chooses not to use a calculator, they will need to sign a paper saying they did not use a calculator for the test. Most exams will take place in Alumni Hall except for AP Spanish Literature and AP Statistics.  AP Spanish LIT will meet in room J3 and AP Statistics will take place in Room K3. Students should not bring laptops and/or iPads to campus. All phones, watches, and electronics will be collected before the exam begins and returned when the exam is finished.

This Friday, May 10, we will be honoring Mary the Mother of God in our annual May Crowning. Students are asked to bring bouquets of flowers outside the gym on Friday morning.  If students would like to receive Christian Service Hours for their donation, they will need to submit a receipt through MobileServe. The requirement is $10 for 1 Christian Service Hour, with a maximum of 3 hours. Thank you for your generosity.

Attention Alemany Warriors – want to get rid of those old uniforms now that you are graduating or leaving Alemany? Why not donate them to the Drama Boosters for our annual Gently Used Uniform Sale? Please bring your washed gently used uniforms to Mrs. Alkazian's room in Study Hall 1. All proceeds to benefit the drama department's continuing efforts to buy new equipment for the theatre. We will be taking donations till the last day of school this year and a little beyond. Needed most are khaki pants and Alemany sweatshirts, but we will take anything offered. No sports clothes from spirit packs please as we cannot resell those. The Drama Boosters thank you for your kind support.
