Ceramics

Ceramics is designed as an introduction to hand building methods working in clay.   Techniques learned are pinch, slab, coil, wheel, sculpture, mixed media, and hollowing out.  The fundamental elements and principles of ceramics design and sculpture will be covered through readings, videos, demonstrations, and studio time.  The student will learn 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional design techniques.
