Dear Bishop Alemany Families,

 

Sophomore Retreat
We are excited to share that our Sophomore Retreats will take place this week at the San Fernando Mission from April 14-16. This is a special opportunity for our sophomore class to step away from their normal routine, reflect, and grow in their faith alongside their peers. Retreat attendance will be based on students’ Religion class periods. Please see the following schedule:
Tuesday, April 14, Sophomores in Religion periods: 2, 3, and 5. Wednesday, April 15 Sophomores in Religion periods: 6 and 1. Thursday, April 16 Sophomores in Religion periods: 0 and 4. The retreat will take place during the regular school day, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Students should be dropped off and picked up directly at the San Fernando Mission on their designated retreat day.

Morning Coffee with the President and Principal
Parents and guardians are invited to join us for a casual morning coffee with President Tony Galla and Principal Karina Momary. This week's chat will take place in Alumni Hall this Thursday, April 16, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. We look forward to connecting with you and sharing the exciting things happening at Bishop Alemany!

 

Band and Orchestra Spring Concert
We invite you to an evening of music at our Spring Concert this Friday, April 17, at 7:00 PM. $10 pre-sale tickets are available for purchase at the Tuition Office. Tickets will be $15 at the door. Alemany Student tickets are $5 pre-sale and at the door. Food and drinks will be for sale at 6:00 p.m., before the concert and during intermission. This is a cashless event. You may purchase pre-sale tickets with cash at the Tuition Office, but cash will not be accepted at the door. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Colella at: [email protected]

 

Spring Fling Dance
ASB is excited to host our Spring Fling Dance on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 7:30-10:30 PM. This is the final dance of the year for our entire student body, and we look forward to celebrating together one last time before the end of the school year. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Tuition Office from April 13 through April 17 for $30. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $40 per student. Students may invite a guest from another school with a completed Guest Pass prior to purchase. Please note that guest tickets must be purchased during the pre-sale period. Guest passes can be found on the Alemany website under Student Life, then ASB. We look forward to a fun and memorable evening for our students!

Are you in need of Parent Service Hour Opportunities? We are looking for volunteers to help make this event a success! There will be a variety of volunteer opportunities, including event setup, clean-up, student supervision, and more. Your support plays an important role in creating a safe and enjoyable experience for our students.  If you are interested in volunteering, please visit the Parent Service Hour Opportunities page to sign up. Graduation is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to start planning for your special day.  The 2026 Premium Graduation Experience Auction and Opportunity drawing opens tomorrow, Monday, April 13, giving you two different ways to win exciting prizes to enhance your graduation morning, including:
A private on-field tent for 12 people, including breakfast; professional family photos with your grad; reserved parking next to the stadium.

Prom May 15, 2026, Tree Top Terrace at the LA Zoo
Prom ticket sales will take place at the Tuition Office from April 20 - 29
, 2026. Prom tickets are $160/person. To purchase a ticket, all students must have their Prom Contracts approved by the Dean after school in the Main Office beginning April 15. You can find the

Please note: Students must be in good standing to attend prom. This relates to outstanding tuition/fees; also, miscellaneous fees, such as athletic gear, spirit packs, Christian Service Hours, and detention. Students on Strict Probation are not allowed to participate in the prom.

 

Campus Ministry
Bishop Alemany is excited to support a student-led shoe drive benefiting the Prince Africa Track Foundation, which provides running shoes to underserved communities throughout Africa and promotes physical well-being and athletic opportunities. We are collecting new or gently used running shoes from April 13–24. Donations can be dropped off with your student’s religion teacher or in Campus Ministry. Thank you for your generosity and support in making a difference!

 

Annual Student Art Show
Annual Student Art Show April 23 - April 30 during the school day.
Please join us for an Evening of Art, Thursday, April 30, from 5:30 p.m.to 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall.  Students will display their artwork created this school year from art classes- Studio Art, Art & Artist, Sculpture, Ceramics, Photography, Advanced Ceramic, and Advanced Art/ AP Studio will be on display, as well as the opportunity to meet our Visual Art teachers. Our students have worked hard this year, and we are so proud of their creative work!  

 

Summer School 2026
This is a reminder that Summer School registration is open for the 2026 summer session.  All registration forms and information on course offerings, pricing, and the summer school schedule are
available here at Alemany.org. Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their slots. Please note: The completed Registration Form, Summer School Contract, and payment should be handed in at the Tuition Office. American Red Cross Blood Drive
The American Red Cross Blood Drive is coming to Bishop Alemany! We are asking for your support and participation in the upcoming blood drive on Monday, April 27, from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in Alumni Hall.

BAPA-sponsored Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week (May 4–8)
We invite our Alemany community to help us celebrate the incredible dedication of our faculty and staff. You can support this special week by donating items and/or gift cards that will be used throughout the celebration. Your contributions are a meaningful way to show gratitude to the educators and staff members who support and inspire our students every day.
In addition, donations can be applied toward your family’s required Parent Service Hours. Please note that for every $20 spent on donated items, 1 service hour will be credited toward your requirement.
Your generosity helps us create a memorable week that truly honors the people who make such a difference in our school community. Thank you for your continued support and for being such an important part of Alemany.
