Attention parents of current sophomores and juniors: There will be an information meeting about next year’s Washington’s D.C. trip on Wednesday, May 27th, at 7PM in the Lowell Thomas Theater. Those students who sign up and enroll before August 30th will save money on the Close Up program cost. Alemany Senior Earns Naval Apprenticeship Andrew Siordia has been selected as an apprentice for the 2009 Office of Naval Research (ONR) Science and Engineering Apprentice Program (SEAP) at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (San Diego, CA). In addition: UC Merced awarded him a 4 year renewable $12,000 Bobcat scholarship, and a $1000 F. Benton scholarship, and an Academic Competitiveness Grant. Great Job Andrew!
