Courses and Graduation Requirements

Our graduation requirements are structured to ensure that every Alemany student has the opportunity to meet and exceed the entrance requirements of all types of colleges and universities, ranging from the most selective universities to our fine local institutions.
 
 
Basic Graduation Requirements
 
Students must complete a total of 240 credits (5 per semester course) from the following subject areas:
 
- English
- Foreign Language 
- History / Social Studies
- Mathematics
- Physical Education
- Religion
- Science
- Visual & Performing Arts
- College Prep Electives
 
Honors & Advanced Placement Program
 
In order to challenge our students, we have an an extensive selection of Honors and AP courses, including:
 
- 20 Advanced Placement courses
- 17 Honors courses
