Report cards will be distributed at Parent Teacher Conferences on Tuesday October 28 from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Gym.
Any report cards not picked up will be mailed on Wednesday October 29th.
Grades are available to view online Thursday October 23, 2008.
NOTE: Parent-Teacher conferences will be held in Alumni Hall (not the Gym)

For the last few weeks, Alemany students have watched student created videos and participated in class discussions that are designed to educate our Warriors on the major issues in this historical election.

Due to the recent events in our area, the yearbook staff is extending the deadline for you to reserve a space for your Senior Salutation in the 2008-2009 Yearbook. Please have your request for a space in the yearbook with at least a 50% down payment. Remember that you do not have to do this alone, get friends, family members, even coaches to help you with photos.

The girl's golf team is holding a fundraiser for the Children's Hospital in downtown L.A. on Monday 10-27-08. They are asking for students and staff to donate $2 and they will be allowed alternative dress. All money collected will be presented to the Children's Hospital toy account that allows a child from the hospital to receive a toy in the name of Bishop Alemany High School. If there are any questions please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Keller.

We are holding a canned food drive through Friday (October 14 thru 17) along with Notre Dame High School. Students will be at various locations before school to collect food. Food can also be brought to the Administration office or Campus Ministry. We will also be collecting canned food at the entrance to the football game against Notre Dame on Friday, October 17.

Robotics Friends,Team Members and Parents: REMINDER-------This Saturday Oct. 18th from 7 am to 12noon, the DiCorrados will be hosting a Garage and Bake Sale to benefit the Alemany H.S. Robotics Team. We need donations of merchandise and bake sale items. If you can come by to help please do...

The Girls Soccer Parent Meeting for tonight (10/13/08) has been canceled due to the fires. Coach Hernandez will reschedule the meeting for a later date. Please contact the Athletic Department if you need assistance.

Due to the poor air quality and the traffic closures caused by the fires, Bishop Alemany High School will be closed Tuesday, October 14th
NOTE: All of Tuesday's on-campus athletic events and the freshmen retreat have also been canceled.

There are no outside PE classes today. All Athletic practices on the Bishop Alemany campus have been canceled. Please contact the Athletic Department for further information.

Michael Rodriguez ('08) earned the scholarship because of his participation in many programs, including the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation. Michael also volunteered in his community, mentored incoming students at Alemany, and competed in water polo and swim.Michael is attend USC as a Computer Science/Engineering major.

We won our first match of the season yesterday against FRSH and are oficially 1-0 in league. We won 9-9 (81-75 in games) and Mallorie and Anne Marie each went 3-0 to contribute 6 of our 9 points.
Natalie Shideh, Anna & Monica Erives and Jen M & Chloe each won a point to (the latter 2 are doubles teams) to tie it up and it was Natalie's victory at the end that sealed up the win for us!

Bishop Alemany High School’s Assistant Director of Activities and Student Government (and Dance Team Teacher/Coach) was honored with the Cardinal’s Recognition of Ministry Award for her excellence in service and dedication to ministry in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. On September 27th , she was honored at a special mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels celebrating young adults from parishes and organizations throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Congratulations Ms. Wilson – You make us very proud!
