College Composition (Period 5) Assignments

Please read the following stories and be ready to discuss them in class on block day:

Re-Read Act III Sc. 2 pages 34-41 only. and in one paragraph explain the scene. Do not just summarize it but explain what you think the scene means. Your paragraph should try to answer the following questions:

What is the significance of the scene?
How does it relate to what came before and after?
Which character is the focus of the scene and why?
How do Oberon and Puck's presence influence the scene?
Is this scene the climax of the play? Why or why not?

Finish Discussion Questions for Acts 4 and 5 of A Midsummer Night's Dream due on Wednesday 11/19/08.
