TEXTS: Handbook for Writiers, Prentice Hall World Literature, and Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, and A Midsummer Nights Dream.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This class will focus on the student's ability to express him or herself in writing. The students will incorporate research and analysis to write a eight -page research paper on ta topic derived from said research. Attention will be given to the paper's structure, content, intent, and voice. The students will be instructed int he use of MLA format as well as the writing process to help them produce this paper and to ensure success with future papers in college.
