The Bishop Alemany Honor Code

Will be upheld in this course.

The Honor Code

To develop a sense of Christian morality, all students, staff, and faculty of Bishop Alemany High School are expected to demonstrate in daily living, on and off – campus, those moral virtues en compassed in the gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to facilitate this commitment, the Bishop Alemany community has recognized that a campus – wide honor policy is desirable. We believe that students have a duty to be truthful and just. Therefore:

1.      A student submitting work for credit under his/ her name must have personally completed the work. (Using unauthorized materials or advanced information is not being truthful).

2.      A student taking a quiz or test must follow the individual teacher’s instruction.

3.      A student’s communication and interaction with others must be honest and considerate.

Beatitudes Project

Make a creative poster listing all of the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-12).
Be creative!  Add pictures. Decorate it so that it looks great!  Be sure that your source of Matthew 5:3-12 is from a Catholic Bible.
Also, you will also be typing an essay (turned in separate from your poster) about a person who exemplifies a Beatitude or the Beatitudes in general.  This person has to be someone from your family or community. If, and only if, you cannot think of a person you know- you may use a known/famous person.  Why did you choose this person?  What does this person do that reminds you of the Beatitudes?  etc.  This is a 1-2 page typed up essay.
