Christian Morality is a course in which students will examine choices in their personal behavior and lifestyles, as well as societal values and norms that influence those choices in light of Catholic Scripture, Church teaching and Tradition, liturgy, spirituality and prayer, and social justice.The goal of this class is to instill in students a sense of conscience and Christian morality so as to make choices based on the Ten Commandments and the teachings of Jesus; and to foster in students' an appreciation of self, as gifted and growing and made in the image and likeness of God.Students will engage in textbook reading and questions for reflection; teacher presentations and note-taking; large and small group discussion; art projects, activities, skits and group projects; prayer and reflection; case study and evaluation and discussion; viewing videos and listening to audio materials relevant to specific topics and tests and quizzes.
