To celebrate Hispanic month, you will be doing a small project that will be due a week from now. To begin, do research and bring to class on Monday a list of names of memorable or influential people (dead or alive) from Spanish speaking countries who have made a positive impact in the world. He/she could be a person who has or had success in the fields of: medicine, physics, athletics, politics, arts (writers, poets, painters, singers, actors), etc...etc.

Each student will choose one important personality and do a short power point presentation on that person. On Monday you will receive detail information on this project.
