Hello! Welcome to this section of this course, Spanish III. I am Ms. Arriola and I hope this academic year 2011-2012 is a wonderful one. Here is some useful information. Materials: *Descubre 3 Textbook & Workbook. *A 3 subject notebook- 8 x 11 lined or a folder with 3 dividers (for agendas/calentamientos/ classwork & homework/ grammar) * Spanish/English dictionary *Flashcards COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is an intermediate-level course designed for students who have successfully completed levels 1 and 2 of high school Spanish. This course will focus on the development of oral proficiency, mastery of grammar and vocabulary, development of reading skills, and the introduction of brief works of Spanish and Latin American literature. Tutoring Hours: Tuesdays: 3:00 - 3:45PM Thursdays: 1:45- 2:45 PM You are more than welcome to make an appointment if you cannot make the times listed above. *Please note that homework, class work, projects, and quizzes will be posted on www.alemany.org "Classwork/Homework" section. In addition, through the semester progresses I will posting important dates and events that relates to this course. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
