All Leaders are asked to sign up to plan one liturgy each semester. Your committee will be expected to meet with Mrs. Hise outside of class to plan in advance of your liturgy. The planning will begin approximately eight weeks before the mass, so that one month before the mass, the Liturgical Ministries will be informed and enabled to help you to carry out the vision you set for the liturgy.
Meeting 1: Explanation of theme, readings, basic tasks and timeline. Discussion of original decorations, music, meditation or other means of personalizing the liturgy. Communications to ministries.
Meeting 2: Progress reports from point persons per tasks, preparing elements for ministries.
Meeting 3: Concluding reports, note ministries contacts, preview of special decorations, music, media, other.
November 1, Liturgy Committee will meet today, Sept. 14 immediately after school in room G4. Following, this committee will meet on Thursdays at lunch: Sept. 20 and Sept. 27
Please bring your ideas for how we might celebrate the Saints with music, environment, PPT, video, or other! One idea is that Leaders each choose a Saint they admire, and dress as that Saint. How do you think we might make the lives of these Saints known and appreciated by our Student Body?

PRAYER: ALEMANY TODAY - Posted by Mr. Levan, attachments on Mr. Levan's HW page.
Check the schedule to see what date you have been assigned. Then using the attached School Prayer Lesson, the sample prayer (Emily Barlog's), and the prayer form, develop a prayer for Alemany Today. Submit the prayer to me by e-mail, [email protected]. Attach the prayer form, labeling it with the day, date (month/day) and your last name (eg. Tuesday 0821 Levan). Do not steal prayers from the internet. The prayer should be your own, unless you choose to incorporate a traditional prayer of a particular feast. Incomplete prayers will be returned for correction.
