Bishop Blaire is loved and remembered by many of the Alemany community. He was our principal here from 1977 until 1986. He was a friend and a priest of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles who served the Church here for many years. Some of our current faculty served under his leadership here at Bishop Alemany as teachers and, for some, as students also. Father Norm Supancheck remembers Bishop Blaire as "a great, caring man." Funeral arrangements will be made in the Stockton diocese, but a local service may be planned as well. May our loving God grant Bishop Blaire eternal rest and may perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
