Welcome To Our Bishop Alemany 2019-2020 School Year!

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back to Bishop Alemany High School as we begin our new 2019-2020 school year.  We hope that your family has had a restful and refreshing summer, leading now to the promise of a fulfilling and successful school year. We have exciting changes, plans and projects that will expand and improve our Catholic identity, academics, athletics, and the safety of all our students.

First and foremost, as you have most likely heard, we have made a positive and significant change in the governance our school.  We are very happy to announce that, after a comprehensive search process, Dr. William Hambleton was chosen to serve as our new President.  I will continue as Principal.  Dr. Hambleton most recently served as Head of School at School of the Holy Child in Rye, New York and Head of Lacordaire Academy in Upper Montclair, New Jersey.  We are excited at the new opportunities this will bring to Bishop Alemany.  We will have a more detailed welcome and explanation of the changing governance model of Bishop Alemany High School soon.

Our freshmen and transfer students will meet on Tuesday, August 13th in the gymnasium at 8:00 am.. Our full-school orientation for all students is on Wednesday, August 14.  Students are asked to be at the gym by 8:00 am as well.  Classes on both days will conclude at 12:30 pm.  All students are to be in full uniform.  More information can be found on the following pages.

I hope that this summer has provided you and your family some rest and relaxation as we ready ourselves for another invigorating academic year.  May God bless you and keep you as we begin another Bishop Alemany school year.
