What was going on 35 years ago?

The world  population reaches 4 billion, work begins on the Alaskan pipeline, and you graduated from Bishop Alemany High School… 1974, the year that saw the speed limit go to 55 and the Sears tower named the tallest building was also the year that sent you off on your new path after high school. Oh, but what a year it was; Father Albert was our principal and Fr. John Kerry was our Vice Principal.  Football made it to play-offs.  Oktoberfest brought together parents, students, German food and fun.  Homecoming was “Stairway to Heaven” Alemany’s Gym was transformed into “a winter wonderland”.  “Plaza Suite”, the “Art Show” and “Mame” was the highlight of spring.  As the year drew to a close – Senior Prom took us to “the Threshold of our Dream”. Please join us for a step back in time as we remember the past 35 years together.
