At this time both LA Mission College classes are full. We were lucky that LA Mission College took almost 90 applications in December! If your student was enrolled in a class, then they received a yellow slip last week with their class schedule and textbook information. You may purchase your student’s textbook online, or through LA Mission College (this will be first come-first serve; they can only set aside about 20 used copies). A representative from LA Mission College will be on our campus the first day of class with used copies of both textbooks. Please have your child bring a check with the following information:
Ebert: Business Essentials – New Price $87.15, Used Price $65.25 ISBN:9780136070764
Fujishin: Natural Speaker – New Price $47.70, Used Price $35.75 ISBN:9780205543021
If a student uses a personal check from their parents, they need to write the following:
Cal Drivers Lic. # or ID # Exp. Date
If possible Student LAMC ID # (They can get this ID # in the Alemany Counseling office)
They may also pay with a credit card or cash
LA Mission College classes will meet in Alemany’s room E1 from 2:00-5:20pm. Attendance is mandatory, and the professor will hand out a class syllabus and schedule on the first day. If a student needs to miss a class they must get approval from the professor and let Mrs. Kaminsky, in the counseling office, know in advance. Students can be dropped for poor attendance, immature behavior, or any other unprofessional actions; this is a college class!
