We would like to send a special congratulations to our very own Kevin O'Shea and his RoboWarriors for being honored with the Steve Allen "Excellence in Education" Award. It is a prestigious award given by the Valley Economic Alliance, which recognizes San Fernando Valley schools and educators who have achieved National Recognition in a given school year.
This year, Kevin O'Shea's RoboWarriors competed in the 2023 FIRST® Championship Daly Division and various national competitions. The Steve Allen “Excellence in Education” Award is named for long-time Valley resident and legendary entertainer Steve Allen, who valued learning and spent much of his later years focused on speaking and writing about the importance of education.
The Alliance highlights those educators who have “gone the extra mile” to make a difference in the quality and importance of education in our Valley communities. The award salutes nationally recognized achievements in the education field.
