Bishop Alemany Senior’s Eagle Scout Project Repairs Student Lunch Benches
Senior Zachary Cook completed the last of his requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout by overseeing a project that consisted of sanding, repairing and painting the individual benches that are used throughout the student lunch area at Bishop Alemany High School. Over the weekend of October 13th and 14th Zachary, some of his fellow Scouts and Leaders, as well as Alemany students and parents participated in the project that took a total of 173 man hours to complete. The project consisted of tearing apart 12 rotted benches and replacing them with new two-by-fours, and sanding, priming and repainting an additional 23 benches. Eagle Scout projects are designed to benefit the community and require at least 100 volunteer hours.
Both Zachary and Bishop Alemany High School wish to acknowledge the following list of members of the community for their generous support of this project. Please remember that patronage of our supporters is the best way to say thanks.
