Sr. Sara Goggin celebrated her Golden Jubilee as a Sister of Saint Mary of Oregon on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the sisters motherhouse in Beaverton, Oregon. At the afternoon liturgy, Sr. Sara renewed her vows of chastity, poverty and obedience. Also celebrated were five sisters who had joined the order 60 years ago. The day celebrated 348 years of dedicated service to the Gospel. Sr. Sara was joined by her two blood sisters who traveled from Montana and Illinois with their families to be at the event.
