Every year, the American Legion sponsors a prestigious speech tournament. The students are required to give two lengthy speeches on different aspects of the United States Constitution. This year's tournament was held on Sunday, January 31, at the American Legion Hall in Hollywood. In addition to giving their speeches, the students are treated to tours of the historic building and of the many collections of vintage weapons and war memorabilia.
We are proud to announce that our team members Ali Lambarri and Joe Lambarri placed fourth and fifth, respectively. We look forward to another stellar showing at the Golden Desert tournament in Las Vegas.
