Social Studies - Course List
Students must take at least three years of Social Studies; many students complete additional elective courses in their junior and senior years.
Students take courses selected from the following:
Sophomore Year
Students must take one of the following year-long courses:
- AP World History
- Global History
Junior Year
Students must take one of the following year-long courses:
- AP U.S. History
- U.S. History
Senior Year
Students must take one of the following pairs of semester courses:
- AP U.S. Government & Politics
- AP Macroeconomics
- U.S. Government
- Economics
Junior & Senior Year Electives
Students may take any of the following semester courses:
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Law & Society
- History through Film
