Model Project Assigned

Not all students will be doing them this chapter but all will do them this semester.

Model Project

1. Construct a three dimensional (3-D) model of a given structure.

· Models should be clearly titled.

· All models must be made up of materials that will not spoil.

· All parts should be labeled or a key should be provided.

· Models should not be larger than 40cm x 40cm x 40cm.

2. Write a report describing your model.

· Minimum of 1 page

· Typed

· Explain the parts of your model (examples: functions, where located, structure, importance)

· Report is required to be e-mailed to teacher at [email protected] (this will eliminate any plagiarism)

Grading will be determined by:

the thoroughness of the model (are all parts included?)

your explanation of the model (are all parts explained in the report?)

if all requirements are completed

effort put into both parts

the creativity used to construct

Extra points will be given to the models that are the best in the class and those that are the best out of all the classes.
