2025 SEASON RECAP

This past season marked some great achievements by our Girls and Boys Teams.   Our boys took 2 relays and 6 individual events to CIF, with 5 of the events returning to Finals.   Senior, Nikita Cutidioc, earned 2nd place in the 100 Freestyle and set a new ALEMANY record, beating Coach Tony's time from 2009 by .01 seconds!  Nikita will be attending Marymount University with a Swim Scholarship this fall.  Along with Kaelan Grimaldo, Jaden Tan, Chris Roland, Jaden Yabut, Adam Rocha and Manny Rocha, the boys finished 11th out of 160 teams in Division 3.

Our Ladies team this year was small but mighty.  With only six members, they placed 2nd in the Angelus League and brought home 6 Title Championships.  All six ladies made the trip to Mt. Sac for CIF with 3 Relays and 4 Individual Events.  5 of the events returned to Finals.  Freshman, Sophia Johnston-Bouchard earned 3rd Place in both her 200 IM and 500 Freestyle Events.  2 of the 3 relays made A finals, earning 6th and 7th place finishes.  Quite a feat for this team which also included Mia Celis, Megan Cruz, Avery Conroy, Zohar Mena, and Alexandria Miyan.  The girls finished in 7th place with over 200 competing teams in Division 4.

We are excited to see what next year holds!

A message from Coach Cox:

For the First time in 5 years, maybe even longer, Alemany sent both swim squads to CIF. Not only that, they both made it back to finals, which means they were in the top 18 in their division out of all of Southern California High school Swimming.

Lady Warriors placed 35th out of 188 teams in Division 4. The finalist team was comprised of Ella Favor, Megan Cruz, Avery Conroy and Zohar Mena. Ella returned to finals in her 100 Fly and 100 Back. Earning 2nd in the B Final with her Fly and 9th in the A final in the 100 Back. An excellent end to her Freshman year.

On the last day of CIF Div 3 Finals, the Boys started out with a bang. Their 200 medley relay shaved another half a second and claimed 4th place in the B Final.  The relay participants were: Nicholas Cutidioc, Aedan Ejercito, Kaelan Grimaldo, and Christian Villar.

Nikita swam the 200 IM and 100 Backstroke, earning 29 points for our squad. His 100 Backstroke qualified for state consideration.

Kaelan Grimaldo moved up 3 spots to 5th in the 100 Fly. Going a personal best of 53.94 and looked hungry for more.

Overall the boys tied for 15th out of the 73 teams

They all swam consistently and faster through out the competition and season. Their perserverance, and dedication to the details led to their outstanding performances.

They were all impressive, and am truly grateful for the best team members and community.
