English - Course List

Students must enroll in an English class every semester.

Students must take one of the following year-long courses:

• Honors English 9

• English 9

Students must take one of the following year-long courses:

• Honors American Literature

• American Literature

Students must take one of the following year-long courses:

• AP English Language

• Honors English Literature

• English Literature

Students must take a full year of courses selected from the following:

• AP English Literature (year)

• College Composition (semester)

• Art, Culture & Literature (semester)

• The Modern American Novel (semester)

• Shakespeare (semester)

Students may also take a semester of:

• Rhetoric & Composition
