PROM 2021 - Bishop Alemany High School
Friday, May 14, 2021

Seniors, we are so excited to welcome you to Prom 2021
"Enchanted Night!"

Your class officers chose your prom theme of "Enchanted Night" (colors blue & silver) to celebrate you being able to come together as the class of 2021 and to also celebrate the many memories that you have experienced as a class over the past 4 years!

On behalf of the Bishop Alemany Administration, Faculty, and Staff, we want to congratulate you and express how proud we are of all that you have accomplished!

Prom 2021 will be a truly unique experience and we are so happy to be able to host this event.  As you know, due to COVID19 protocols, we are restricted on some of our traditions; however, we wanted to mention some of the unique highlights for Prom 2021.

At time of Prom Bid purchase, students will sign up for a pod of 6 people which will also serve as their table assignments.  Students will be required to remain with their pods throughout the evening as they travel between the different stations and photo opportunities.
  1. We will be seated under the stars with socially distanced tables.  There will be a professional DJ set up and students will be able to dance by their table around their pod of 6.  Face masks are required to be worn at all times, except when students are eating.
  2. We will have various props and lighting for photo opportunities.  White's Studio will be present for any student wishing to order professional prom portraits.
  3. Original Tommy's Hamburgers - Shack on Wheels will cater Prom 2021.
    • There are 4 options for the main dish:
        • Chili Cheese Hamburger (option for no chili)
        • Chili Hamburger (option for no chili)
        • Grilled Cheese Sandwich
        • Veggie Sandwich
    • French Fries
    • Drink
  4. Recess Truck will be catering dessert.
  5. Since we were not able to host Homecoming this year, we have doubled the size of our prom court.  We will have 11 princesses & 11 princes.  (Prom court voting will take place starting next week, and voting for King and Queen will take place at prom along with introductions and the coronation).
  6. Check in will take place from 5:00-6:00pm in the L-Wing as per usual.  (In order to be admitted to prom students are required to begin check in no later than 5:30pm). Students are asked to arrive and check in with their pod of 6. Students are required to adhere to the prom dress code in order to be admitted to the event. All student parking is in the San Fernando Mission Student Lot.
  7. We will have an optional "Step & Repeat" photo opportunity for parents to take a picture at check in.  Due to COVID19 restrictions/protocols, each student is limited to 2 people to be present at check in.  We are unable to have parents stay to watch all students come through and take pictures.  We will have to require that once your child has completed check-in, parents will need to exit through the San Fernando Mission gate. All parent parking is in the San Fernando Mission Student Lot.  The L-Wing lot is closed for check in and student safety.
