We are excited to offer our graduating families the chance to enter an opportunity drawing for a premium graduation viewing package, as well as a limited number of reserved parking spaces. The more tickets you purchase, the greater your odds of winning. Ticket sales close promptly on Friday, May 13th, at 12:00pm.

     Senior Class of 2022:

1. Senior Parking Lot Fundraiser Event
    • Wednesday, October 13th (8:00am-12:00noon)
    • Planning meeting K1 after school Wednesday 9/22/21.
    • A design template will be available at the meeting. Refer to documents below for contract and more details.
 
2. Senior Class Privileges - granted 12/3/21
   (See privileges and Alternative Dress Code listed below).
 
3. Senior Panorama/Composite Picture 
    • $25
    • Orders due by Friday, 4/8/22 
 
4. Senior Sweatshirts - (Available for pick up).
    • $50 
    • Orders due by Friday, 3/11/22
 
5. Senior Picnic/Swim Party - Friday, April 29th (Ticket sales end April 22)
    • Seniors attending the picnic will be released to the event at the end of Period 4. (All other seniors are required to report to periods 5 & 6).
    • We will have a taco cart serving lunch, a DJ, raffle, and various activities.
    • Students may swim if they wear an appropriate bathing suit.
    • Students who purchase tickets should bring a picnic blanket/beach towel and/or a beach chair.
 
6. Prom - Ahmanson Hall at the Skirball Cultural Center
    • Friday, May 13, 2022

    • Prom Bid sales - Monday, April 4th -.Wednesday, April 13, 2022
    • $175/person
    • Must submit completed contract at time of purchase.
    • See Mrs. Urbach (Dean's Office next to D5) for dress and contract approvals. 
    • Prom Contracts (See below attachment).
    • At this time Skirball requires either proof of COVID vaccination or a negative PCR/lab test within 72 hours of the event. 
    • Students will need to attach a copy of proof of vaccination to their prom contract or take a PCR test within 72 hours of the event. They will need to bring a picture ID & Proof of Vaccination to prom.

8. Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation Events

We are happy to announce that, instead of the original 4 tickets, all senior families will now receive 6 tickets for our Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May 20. With stable COVID-19 numbers and outdoor restrictions lifted, we are happy to be able to extend the invitation to more people as we celebrate the accomplishments of the class of 2022.

*Please note, due to health concerns and state/local regulations all events and dates are tentative at this time.
                         

Important Dates to Remember:

  • Senior Portraits: Must be photographed by Nov. 20th (website announcement has been on homepage and already extended). 
  • Cap and Gown & Graduation Packages through Jostens: Due Nov. 30th.
  • Senior Quotes (Canvas assignment in Counseling Canvas course and must be submitted in Canvas): Due December 6th.
  • Senior Activities (Canvas assignment in Counseling Canvas course and must be submitted in Canvas): Due December 6th.
  • College Applications Deadlines: Please check your individual college's Office of Admissions website.
  • FAFSA: March 2, 2022
  • Cal Grant: March 2, 2022 (Submitted by Alemany)
  • CSS Profile: Please check your individual college's Office of Financial Aid
  • National Commitment Day: May 1, 2022

 

Senior Class Privileges:

 

1. Alternative Dress Code Fridays:
Casual Dress 
 Clothing should be appropriate for school and of a modest nature.

  • Shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts and blouses should be without any inappropriate emblems or lettering. Girl’s tops should be appropriate and of a modest nature.

  • Pants and walking shorts may be worn. Shorts and skirts must be no higher than 4 inches above the knee. Jeans may be worn as long as they are free from rips, holes or tears.

  • No tight (spandex) fitting clothing including yoga pants, leggings, tights, etc...

  • No inappropriate off the shoulder, sleeveless, or sheer clothing.

  • All shoes must be close-toed and close-heeled.

  • No tank tops or spaghetti straps or tube tops are allowed. Tops must be modest (covering cleavage & midriff).

  • Clothing must fit properly.

  • No pajama tops or bottoms.

  • No hats or beanies.

2. College Sweatshirts - may be worn as an alternative to Alemany Sweatshirts (Alemany polo/uniform is still required).
