Christian Service Program

The Christian Service Program at Bishop Alemany High School is a required program for all the students who attend BAHS. This program is developed in collaboration with students, faculty members and the school leadership. The Christian Service Program is outlined in our school mission statement: to be a community enriched by faith that develops intellectually prepared men and women who are committed to promoting a just and peaceful world as conscientious and morally courageous leaders in service to others.

 
The Christian Service Program is under the direction of the Campus Ministry Department and is administered through the student Religion class. It is an academic requirement and a crucial element of our spiritual program. All students are required to complete 20 Christian Service Hours per school year. All service hours for the 2023-2024 school year must be logged by May 1, 2024.

Students are provided with a MobileServe account, which they must download onto a device.  They will log the hours served on the app listing a supervisor of the organization where the student is volunteering along with their email address. MobileServe will send the Campus Minister and Religion Department Chair an email that service hours have been completed. 

 

MobileServe Guide
Please follow these instructions to install MobileServe:
  1. Install the MobileServe app or visit https://app.mobileserve.com
  2. To sign in, click the Microsoft button.

  3. Students must log-in using their Alemany school email address and password. If you are having trouble logging in to your account, please visit E11 for help or send an email to [email protected]. 
 
  • Tutoring at St.Didacus Catholic School: Mon-Thur. 3pm-5pm 
  • Tutoring at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic School : Mon-Thur. 3pm-5pm 
Students can sign up on their MobileServe App,


If you are completing service hours off-campus, please follow the instructions below.  It is imperative that you get the contact email address of the person supervising your service so that they can verify the hours you completed. This is in lieu of them needing to "sign" any forms.
 
MobileServe Logging Instructions:
  • On the MobileServe Home screen, click "Log Hours."
  • Click "Enter Service Hours and Locations."
  • Click on the date to add the date that you served.
  • Total Hours: Type in total hours served.
  • ServiceOrg: Type the name of the event or organization you served. 
  • Category: Select "Volunteer Work" based on how you served.
  • Tell Your Story: Type in how you served. Tell what you did to serve the community. 
  • Click "Next"
  • Supervisor Name: Enter the name of the adult supervising your service.
  • Supervisor Email: Enter the email address of the adult supervising your service.
  • Photos Optional
  • Leave "Attach My Location" disabled
  • Click "Submit Hours"
 
 
On- Going Opportunities :
  • Some of the Campus Ministry Ministries, ASB Clubs, and NHS offer service hours through their clubs/organization.  Attend their meetings for more detail.
    • An example is taking part in weekly prayer with Warrior Worship on Thursdays, after school or Ushering at School Mass.
